The European Salivary Gland Society (ESGS) gathers and identifies specialists from Basic Sciences, Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Immunology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Pathology, Radiology, and others, all of who have a particular interest in Salivary Glands. 

The ESGS aims to organise courses and conferences, promote teaching, and compile and publish consensus protocols on “European Standard” or practice and attitudes, on the diagnosis and management of specific diseases and conditions through multidisciplinary working groups.

The ESGS is one of the 14 identifiable founding European Societies, constituting the newly created and launched European Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (EAORL-HNS) associated with the European Federation of Otolaryngologic Societies (EUFOS). The Foundation Board is composed of 26 individual members from 9 different medical specialities.
